MADISON – Governor Jim Doyle issued the following statement regarding today’s decision on Bucyrus:
“I appreciate the decision by the Export/Import Bank to move this important project forward. Today’s agreement will support good manufacturing jobs at Bucyrus and clean energy jobs both of which are critical to driving our economic recovery.
“I really appreciate that our concerns were heard as we all continue to make job creation the top priority.
“The project supports U.S. exports, clean coal, lower carbon emissions and good jobs in Wisconsin.”
