In honor of the pursuit of life, liberty … and mouse toys!

Green Bay, Wisconsin – Bay Area Humane Society is hosting a special adoption event from now until July 4, 2010. All adult cat and kitten adoptions will be just $17.76. Adopters who appreciate purrs and unconditional love can add to their pursuit of happiness by adding a cat or kitten to their family.

The shelter is open from Noon – 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, and Noon – 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The shelter will be open on Saturday July 3rd for the last day of this special, and closed July 4th and 5th in observance of the holiday.

Adopters will find all they need in the Shelter’s expanded retail area, which includes everything from basics like litterboxes and collars, to unusual toys and catnip.

All $17.76 adoptions will still need an approved adoption application and will still include the same great care for each cat including:

* Spay or neuter surgery

* Rabies vaccination

* Initial distemper vaccination

* Deworming treatment, flea treatment

* Feline Leukemia & Feline AIDS testing (felv/FIV/Heartworm)

* Microchip identification & Registration

* Free Health Examination (within ten business days of adoption courtesy of local veterinarians)

* 4 lb. bag of Science Diet food
