Dept. of Commerce: Secretary Olver announces appointment of Darin Bielecki as executive assistant

MADISON—Department of Commerce (Commerce) Secretary Aaron Olver today announced the appointment of Darin Bielecki as Executive Assistant.

“Darin Bielecki brings to his new role a business background that includes international trade experience,” said Secretary Olver. “Darin will be a strong asset to our economic development team as we work with businesses to create jobs and investment.”

For the past year, Bielecki was a consultant for a trade association. Prior to that, he served for a year and a half as a Fulbright Fellow in Ukraine for the US Department of State, working on both international and domestic business development projects. From 2004-07, he was a director of Symphony Corporation, Madison, an information technology and services consulting firm. He holds a BS in political science with a minor in business from the UW-Madison and an MA in Eastern European Studies from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland.
