Pewaukee, Wis. – While most business owners follow their talents and passions into the marketplace, they quickly find themselves thrust into an unfamiliar role – salesperson. Sales is a science with language and practices all its own, ones that must be mastered for business success.

A June 17 workshop, “The Changing Face of Sales,” will address the challenge of sales from a different perspective – tailoring sales techniques to fit individual personalities. Using data from a Strategic Performance Assessment, participants will learn how to develop an effective sales style to turn more leads into revenue.

The seminar will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Foundations Bank, N35-W23877 Highfield Court. It’s the third of six monthly Growth Coach seminars aimed at helping business owners think strategically and plan ahead for growth.

“Sales instruction often uses a ‘one size fits all’ approach,” said Gwen Nelson, owner of The Growth Coach and a veteran small business owner and adviser. “But just as every person is different, so are their approaches to sales.
