Kalahari Resort: Celebrates 10 years of vacation adventures

WHAT: Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells will host a “Splashtacular” event in its outdoor waterpark to celebrate the opening of its award-winning outdoor waterpark for the summer and its 10th birthday. Having hosted more than 10 million visitors since it opened in 2000, Kalahari has become a major player in Wisconsin tourism and will be recognized with a special commendation from Governor Doyle.

Over the years, Kalahari has provided more than 1,200 jobs for Wisconsin residents, lead the industry in waterpark innovation, and stimulated the state’s economy with a recession-proof concept and $129 million in expansions.
