Middleton, Wisconsin, May 24, 2010 – Middleton, WI – Standard Imaging Inc. is pleased to announce that their 9th Annual Golf Classic fundraiser garnered over $11,000 for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Since 2002, Standard Imaging has raised over $145,000 for Relay for Life. This year’s classic, which was held on May 14th, 2010 at the Meadows of Six Mile Creek in Waunakee, WI, was Standard Imaging’s most successful outing to date.

“Each year we surpass the previous classic’s total, and it never ceases to impress me. It just shows that our sponsors, employees and participants are sincerely invested in this cause,” said Ed Neumueller, Standard Imaging President and Chief Executive Officer. “This is truly a team effort and we are very proud of the results.”

137 golfers, consisting of Standard Imaging employees, radiation therapy clinicians and representatives of other local firms, hit the links during the 18-hole scramble event. Their entrance fees and direct donations, along with raffles and a silent auction, helped comprise the $11,404 total. Standard Imaging is grateful for all the sponsors and participants who supported this worthy cause. These proceeds will be combined with other Standard Imaging fundraising initiatives, resulting in an estimated total donation of $20,000 to the American Cancer Society.
