Manitowoc, WI, U.S.A. – Burger Boat Company is proud to announce that SYCARA IV, its 151′-03″ (46m) Fantail Motor Yacht, has been awarded the Judges’ Special Award. The 2010 World Superyachts Awards gala was held at London’s prestigious Guildhall Saturday May 22, 2010.
More than 500 of the superyacht industry’s leading professionals, superyacht owners, and their personal guests from all over the world flew into London for the event, honoring the best of the best in superyacht build and design.
The Judges’ Special Award recognizes the detailed manner in which her builder, Burger Boat Company, and her designer, Ken Freivokh faithfully created the owner’s vision of a classic motor yacht from the 1920s to remarkably high standards of design, construction and engineering, without the necessities of modern life impacting on her true-to-period atmosphere. The judges considered the result to be a vessel of the highest quality.

Styled after the classic yachts of the 1920’s, SYCARA IV brings together an impressive collaboration of “high profile” experts.
