Miron Construction: To donate nearly 3 tons of goods to Milwaukee Goodwill following Earth Day efforts

On Wednesday, April 28th at 11 a.m. at the Goodwill Industries of Southeast Wisconsin Wauwatosa store, Miron Construction will drop off nearly 6,000 lbs. worth of goods donated by company employees during Miron’s Earth Day competition.

Miron divided its employees region-wide into three teams, who competed to see which team could collect the largest number (by weight) of donated goods from family, friends, and neighbors. Donations were placed in three semi-sized Miron storage trailers, and each trailer was weighed on Earth Day to see which team donated the most. In all, nearly 30,000 lbs. of goods were donated, and the goods have been split into five equal portions to be donated to Goodwill stores throughout Wisconsin and in Iowa.

Employees from Miron Construction and representatives from Goodwill Industries will be present as the Milwaukee portion of the donation is dropped off.
