Project to Create 15 Jobs

MADISON
— Governor Jim Doyle announced today that National Packaging Services (NPS Corp), Inc. of Brown County will receive $57,000 in tax credits from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. The company is purchasing equipment for its facility in Green Bay.

“One of my top priorities is to help move companies and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens,” Governor Doyle said. “I’m pleased that we could assist NPS Corp, Inc. in bringing new jobs to Wisconsin.”

In 1996, Andy Hetzel acquired NPS Corp from Kimberly Clark Corporation. Today, the company is owned by Hetzel and Daniel P. Coonan. NPS markets three product lines: a complete line of spill control products and wipers; tissue and towel products and dispensing systems; and protective packaging. The company expects to create 15 jobs for its facility in Green Bay. Total project cost is $950,000.
