SUN PRAIRIE, Wisconsin, June 23, 2004 –Trachte Building Systems recently broke ground for a 61,000 square foot expansion. The addition to its current 100,000 square foot facility, will position Trachte and its subsidiaries for growth in the self-storage, roll-up door, and fire and police training industries. The first of three phases, spanning 26,750 square feet, has an expected completion date of November 1, 2004.
Jeff Seefeldt, President and COO of Trachte says, “we are excited to be growing and building this addition for a myriad of reasons, namely more space for production and loading material, and parking for our employees. The expansion will enable us to remain at our current location in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, for many years. American Structures General, of Madison, Wisconsin, will serve as the General Contractor and Vacro Pruden, of Evansville, Wisconsin, will provide the building’s structural steel and roof. Trachte will supply portions of the building’s trim as well as its own inner and outer wall panels to ensure color consistency with the existing building.
