BELOIT, Wis. – For the fourth consecutive year, ABC Supply Co. Inc. has been honored with the Gallup Great Workplace Award. The company is one of only 25 companies in the world to receive the 2010 award. It also is one of only six four-time winners, having received the award every year since its inception.
ABC Supply is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation’s largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products.
The Gallup Great Workplace Awards recognize the best-performing workforces in the world and are based on the most rigorous workplace research ever conducted. Companies considered for the award were evaluated by a panel of workplace experts, who compared each company’s results to those of millions of work teams all over the world using Gallup’s massive database. The award is based on multiple criteria, including response rates, overall engagement levels and evidence of engagement’s impact on performance.
ABC Supply is among the winners because its results demonstrate that the company has one of the most productive and engaged workforces in the world. Among the other four-time winners are such prestigious organizations as The Campbell Soup Company.
