Foley & Lardner: Foley & Lardner honored for 2010 BTI Client Service All-Stars

Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that the BTI Consulting Group (Wellesley, Massachusetts) has recognized the firm as having the most attorneys named 2010 BTI Client Service All-Stars, and named Milwaukee Office attorney Jay Rothman to its BTI Client Service All-Star list. Attorneys receive this prestigious recognition based solely on unprompted feedback from more than 250 general counsel at Fortune 1000 organizations.

This marks the fourth consecutive year Rothman has been honored as part of the BTI Client Service All-Star Team for his dedication to consistently delivering superior client service, making him a BTI Client Service MVP.

Rothman is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and serves as the chair of the firm’s Transactional & Securities Practice. He practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities law, takeover defense, and general corporate and business law. He has structured and negotiated numerous acquisition transactions in various industries and has represented both underwriters and corporate issuers in various public offerings of both debt and equity securities. In addition, Rothman regularly counsels publicly held companies regarding compliance matters under federal and state securities laws.

This elite honor follows closely that of Foley’s recognition by BTI as the top firm on its 2010 BTI Client Service 30 list, which recognizes the 30 law firms delivering best-in-class client service. This is Foley’s seventh year on the list and marks the first time the firm was recognized as the best firm in the country in delivering superior client service in the eyes of clients.
