WMEP: Growth, new markets for manufacturers are focus of Feb. 18 presentation in Stevens Point

MADISON, Wis. – Strategies to help manufacturers stimulate growth and develop new markets for their products are the topic of a Feb. 18 presentation hosted by the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP).

Presenters will discuss a five-step approach to growth, market diversification strategies and the importance and benefits of exporting. Speakers are Brad Schneider, export development manager, Wisconsin Department of Commerce; and Marie Mansheim, strategic marketing specialist, WMEP.

The presentation also will include information about free and low-cost state services to help manufacturers develop or expand international sales.
