As part of an office consolidation effort announced in late 2007, the Department of Revenue office in Superior will close on Thursday, December 10, 2009. The office is one of 20 district locations that will be consolidated through 2010.
The last day for walk-in taxpayer assistance at the Superior location is Monday, December 7. Revenue staff will continue to service taxpayers through regional offices:

DOR announced in December 2007 the consolidation of 27 field offices into seven regional offices as part of restructuring the operations of the agency. The regional offices will be located in Appleton-Green Bay, Eau Claire, Madison, Milwaukee, Wausau and Chicago, and will continue providing comprehensive services to taxpayers across the state.
