Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corp.: Tsheschlok to head economic development in Washington County

Brenda Hicks-Sorensen, CEcD, president, Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC), announced today that the organization’s vice president, Christian Tscheschlok, CEcD, has accepted the position of Executive Director at Economic Development/Washington County. Tscheschlok will remain at FCEDC through November 30th.

“We offer our full and most earnest congratulations to Christian,” said Hicks-Sorensen. “We feel this is a wonderful move for him and are very proud that an FCEDC staff member has stepped into this role. Having Christian in neighboring Washington County will offer some incredible opportunities for partnerships. We really couldn’t have asked for a better situation in this time when collaboration and cooperation are so vitally important in economic development.”

Tscheschlok joined FCEDC in June of 2007. Hicks-Sorensen noted that the organization will begin working immediately to fill the vacancy, and plans are to have a new staff member on board in early 2010.
