(MADISON) – Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc. announces the sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (Family Day Care Home Component). 4- C sponsors the Food Program in following counties: Adams, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Juneau, LaCrosse, LaFayette, Marquette, Monroe, Richland, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, Walworth, Waukesha,

The Child and Adult Care Food Program receives funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The program provides financial assistance to family day care home providers so that nutritious meals can be integrated with nonresidential child care services. The goal of the Program is to improve the diets of young children and increase the opportunity for children to eat a variety of nutritious foods. The meals and snacks served meet standards set by USDA.

Children enrolled for child care are served the meals at no separate charge and without regard to race, sex, color, disability, age, or national origin.
