Madison 1670 WTDY: Launches clothing drive to dump Favre sports wear

Media Contact: Joan Collins Publicity, Inc. (608) 222-2899

Got a bunch of Number Four useless and used sports wear clogging up your closet space?

The Wisconsin Guys at radio station Madison 1670 WTDY, Dan Deibert and Kurt Baron, say there is no need to blow it up, light it on fire, run it over or shred it. Pack up your Brett Favre gear and drop it off at Mid- West Family Broadcasting where it will be donated to a Twin Cities homeless shelter on October 5, prior to the Green Bay Packer and Minnesota Vikings game in Minneapolis that night.

Donors can enter a drawing to win tickets to see Benedict Favre and team take on the Packers at Lambeau Field, on November 1, according to The Wisconsin Guys.

Out-of-Favre items can be dropped off at 730 Ray O Vac Dr., Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m.-5 p.m., until October 1 or at any of the Wisconsin Guy tour stops, including Reverend Jim’s in Stoughton. August 28, JB’s Italian Grill in Sun Prairie, September 4, and The Tilted Kilt, Madison, September 11. Drop off items at these locations between 3-6 p.m. http://www.4thepoor.org
