WHITEWATER – Innovation, originality and market leadership landed the Online
MBA program the 2009 “Excellence in Online Education” award from European
CEO magazine.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater program, in existence since 1998, is
featured in the magazine’s June-July issue.

“The reach of UW-Whitewater’s Online MBA program is truly international,”
said Lois Smith, interim dean of the College of Business and Economics.
“Our Online MBA program has earned awards and recognition from Corporate
Report Wisconsin, GetEducated.com and the Princeton Review. With the
European CEO award, the program has reached an international stage. We are
confident of the high standards of our offerings, and these awards
underscore the idea that others recognize our quality as well.”

For two straight years, Corporate Report Wisconsin magazine readers rated
UW-Whitewater a best school for online business education. GetEducated.com
ranks the Online MBA program in the top 25 best buys for online business
education. The Princeton Review has named UW-Whitewater’s College of
Business and Economics a best business school the last three years.

Nearly 400 students, many of whom are international, are enrolled in
UW-Whitewater’s Online MBA program, which is accredited by the Association
to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

UW-Whitewater also offers an online undergraduate business degree through
the College of Business and Economics. The online program includes the
junior- and senior-level courses required for the general business major.
Lower-level requirements and electives may be completed at other
institutions, including UW-Colleges Online, or through UW‑Whitewater’s other
course offerings.

European CEO magazine reaches more than 45,000 chief executive officers and
other executives who serve on the boards of Europe’s leading companies. It
provides targeted, topical coverage that addresses the needs of European
business leaders.
