Apollo Light Pipe, creating quality jobs the focus of tour, meeting

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Wisconsin state Reps. James Soletski and Ted Zigmunt today will visit Orion Energy Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: OESX) to learn more about Orion’s Apollo® Light Pipe technology and learn about Orion’s leadership in the green technology marketplace.

Soletski, D-Green Bay and Zigmunt, D-Francis Creek, are scheduled to arrive at Orion at 2 p.m. The media is invited to attend. The visit will include a tour of the Manitowoc manufacturing facility and Orion’s new state-of-the-art technology that serves as the energy company’s world headquarters.

The focus of the visit is to learn if there’s anything the representatives can do to assist Orion in the marketplace and opportunities for expanding and creating more good paying green collar jobs.

Soletski is the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Energy and Utilities and Zigmunt is a member of same.
