PAWWS to Heal (Passionate Animals Working with Survivors) will be holding their annual fund raiser “Animals Reaching Children” on Sunday April 19th, 2009 at 1pm to 5pm at the East Side Club, 3735 Monona Dr in Monona. PAWWS to Heal is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization which provides animal assisted therapy and animal assisted activity for abused and physically, mentally and emotionally challenged children. PAWWS to Heal will work with therapist, teachers, parents, counselors to develop specialized programs and therapy sessions, which fit each child’s needs.
PAWWS to Heal is an outreach program currently, and the goal is to purchase an onsite facility to expand programs, animals and activities for each and every child we encounter.
