(February 18, 2009) – “Finding Cash in Your Business” is the title of a free Webinar to be presented by Clifton Gunderson – ranked as one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and consulting firms – on Thursday, April 2, 2009. The program is designed to teach manufacturers and wholesale distributors’ ways to find cash through enhanced inventory and supply chain control, improving employee health, better communication with your banker and managing tax liabilities in 2009.

About Our Presenters

Duane Oest is Clifton Gunderson’s National Products Niche Leader. In this role he works with assurance and tax professionals to provide additional operational depth and coordination to the firm’s manufacturing and wholesale distribution clients. Oest’s experience in strategic planning, tactical diagnosis, operational business process improvement, and information/financial systems goes back to 1973. He has worked with various U.S., Asian, and European manufacturers across a range of industries in the implementation of practical, results-oriented programs.

Michael O’Connor is the president and founder of MCM – Solutions for Better Health. He has more than thirty years experience in the delivery, evaluation, and financing of healthcare. Prior to founding MCM, O’Connor was the executive director of one of the country’s largest physician peer review organizations. He also served as the Chief of Medicare Contractor Budgets for the CMS Administration’s largest regional office. Michael has provided consultant services to a variety of health care providers and payers in both the public and private sectors as a member of the US Public Health Service.

Steve Clingen is a senior vice president and division manager with MB Financial Bank. Prior to joining MB, Clingen spent five years at LaSalle Bank, and thirteen years at American National Bank, where he began his career in banking. His focus has always been in working with middle-market manufacturing, distribution and service companies, and their owners.

Mark Gasbarra, CPA, CFP® is the national managing director of U.S. Tax Advantage, LLC. He has 27 years experience serving the complex tax needs of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to forming U.S. Tax Advantage, LLC, Gasbarra spent his career at Big Four firms where he was a senior international tax partner and national practice leader. During his very successful tenure, he developed tax strategies leading to hundreds of millions of dollars.
