MADISON, Wis. —Shannon Griswold has joined Summit Credit Union as president of STAR Credit Union, the only youth-chartered credit union, located in the Boys & Girls Club in Madison.

Griswold brings a background in both banking and social work to the position. Most recently, she was a social worker at Central Wisconsin Center and a program assistant at Girl Power, both in Madison. Before that, she was a teller and personal banker at Amcore Bank in Madison.

A Madison resident, Griswold earned a bachelor of arts degree in social work at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater as well as an associates degree at Madison Area Technical College. She is actively involved with Hope Worldwide through the Madison Church of Christ.
