Kewaskum, Wisconsin (January 21, 2009) – Jim Dorn, a well-known fixture in both Housewares and Food Services circles, announced his retirement from Regal Ware, Inc. effective January 1, 2009. Dorn held a variety of professional sales positions during his tenure with Regal Ware, most recently being named Vice President, Food Service Division in November 2003. He was responsible for shepherding re-entry to the high-end retail market with Regal Ware’s newest product offerings, the American Kitchen™ and MARCUS™ cookware lines. Dorn’s career with Regal Ware began in 1964 as he studied the crafting of the products he was destined to sell. After working as a general foreman in the company’s manufacturing facility, he transferred to the sales department as a trainee in 1973. His career encompassed responsibility for Regal Ware product placement with wholesalers and catalog showrooms, catalog and mass merchandisers, special markets, and ultimately food service suppliers and retailers. Jim is a native of Kewaskum, Wisconsin were he resides today with his wife, Pat.

Coinciding with Dorn’s retirement, Randy Schickert was named Senior Vice President – Retail and Custom Brands. In this capacity he will assume responsibility for the company’s strategy, plan development, and execution for the Retail, Contract, and Private Label sectors. Schickert joined Regal Ware in 2007 as Vice President, Worldwide Product Development and Procurement. Prior to his association with Regal Ware he spent twenty-plus years in sales, operations, and engineering management, most recently serving as President of DESA Indoor/Outdoor Products in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and President at Huffy Sports Company in Sussex, Wisconsin. Randy, his wife Diane and son Ben reside in the Village of Kewaskum, Wisconsin.

In a related move, Chris Robason has been promoted to the position of National Sales Manager – Retail. In this position he will be responsible for building, developing and expanding the Regal Ware sales presence throughout the U.S. Robason joined the Regal Ware team in August 2007 as Sales Manager for the Retail division, bringing more than 10 years of experience in cookware sales management. Chris, his wife Dawn, and their children Shelby and Ben currently reside in Grafton, Wisconsin.
