Expo Productions, Inc.: Call for technical presentations at 9th annual Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo

HARTLAND, WISCONSIN (October 24, 2008) . . . Technical presentations are being solicited for seminars on new wire industry technology by Expo Productions, Inc. (EPI), the producer of the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo.

The 9th annual Expo is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 20 and Thursday, May 21, 2009, at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wis. The show features a dedicated seminar area for the presentation of technical topics of interest to the wire harness industry. There is no additional charge for either attendees or exhibitors to attend the seminars after admission to the show.

As technology rapidly changes in the wire processing industry, EPI seeks presentations that will encompass all industry capabilities and/or applications. To ensure seminar attendees receive superior information, the conference advisory board is soliciting a number of key presentations from industry leaders as well.

“Recent surveys have demonstrated that more than 75% of show attendees rate technical seminars as important to their trade show experience,” says EPI President Jay Partington. He adds that the same surveys show that more than 70% of show attendees come to trade shows to be educated on new trends and technologies within the market.

In order to be considered as a seminar presenter, a short abstract of the topic along with an outline must be submitted to Marge Gogin, seminar coordinator of the National Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo, c/o Expo Production, Inc., 510 Hartbrook Dr., Hartland, WI 53029. Submissions can be mailed to EPI, faxed to them at 262-367-9956, or e-mailed to margegogin@sbcglobal.net. The presentation content must be technical rather than commercial in nature. General company information and advertising is not acceptable.

Deadline for submissions is December 31, 2008. For more information, call Expo Productions, Inc., at 800-367-5520 or 262-367-5500.
