WAUKESHA, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Horton Group is hosting “The Positive Approach to COBRA,” an informative workshop designed to help employers, human resources professionals and COBRA administrators solve everyday problems associated with compliance. The complimentary workshop will be held at the Horton Group’s office located at N19W24101 N. Riverwood Drive in Waukesha from 8:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, September 17th. COBRA compliance expert Matt Isbell will be the featured speaker.
Matt will cover topics of key importance to area business owners and human resources professionals including: the new FSA exemption test, “Not significantly less premium Safe Harbor” procedures, managing individual COBRA elections during open enrollment, staying cool with the “hot head” ex-employee, understanding the medicare “before and after” eligibility ruling and reasonable Notification” procedures and SOPs. Workshop attendees will receive valuable information about COBRA issues and solutions from an expert in the field, as well as 3.0 HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) credits for completion.
