Godfrey & Kahn Names Rochelle H. Klaskin Madison Office Managing Partner

Klaskin is firm’s first woman to serve in this role


 


            Madison, Wisconsin (June 3, 2008).  The law firm of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. today announced the appointment of Rochelle H. Klaskin, shareholder and member of the Corporate Practice Group, as managing partner of the firm’s Madison office, effective June 1, 2008.  Klaskin becomes the firm’s first woman to serve as an office managing partner.

            Klaskin joined Godfrey & Kahn in 1999.  She focuses her corporate practice on mergers and acquisitions, general counsel advising, and private equity and venture capital transactions.  She graduated with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Phi Beta Kappa.  Klaskin is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Illinois.
