FONTANA, Wis., May 12 /PRNewswire/ — The all new AVANI Spa, slated to open in mid – June, 2008, is the latest enhancement to The Abbey Resort, an iconic destination located on the western shore of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
The newly renamed AVANI SPA, is defined in Sanskrit as “from the earth,” and evokes feelings of tranquility, peace, relaxation, and rebirth. Utilizing inspiration from nature, AVANI’s materials and decor will feature natural elements, including cork flooring, and be accented by brown and cream earth tones, complimented with shades of blues and greens. AVANI will boast luxurious water-based treatments featuring the Phytomer ocean based line, and other products of the earth and sea.
Designed by the Getty’s Group in Chicago, the $1.5 million spa renovation fuses the reputation of the Abbey and its Fontana Spa (originally launched in 1988) and the $40 million resort renovation completed in 2005. The all-new spa will feature innovative spa treatments, intricate attention to detail and the modern luxuries of a first class spa that today’s sophisticated spa consumers have come to expect.
