Schneider Logistics Finalizes Integration of International Supply Chain Services

Company’s strategic acquisitions, global expansion drive rebranding efforts

GREEN BAY, Wis.—April 24, 2008—Schneider Logistics, Inc., a leading global logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, announced today that it has completed integration of the four logistics companies the organization has acquired since 2005. As of April 1, American Port Services, Powers Transportation, American Overseas Logistics and BaoYun Logistics are fully integrated entities, allowing Schneider Logistics to offer an integrated solution to customers’ international logistics needs.

“Schneider has been providing logistics services to customers in North America and abroad for more than 10 years,” said Tom Escott, president of Schneider Logistics. “Our strategic acquisitions within the last three years have significantly built out our international service offerings. Now, as one company, we present a single-source solution for our customers’ international supply chains—from a shipment’s critical first mile to its final destination.”

“We have quietly become one of the largest providers of port dray and transloading services in the United States, a growing freight forwarder, and a leading transportation and distribution company in China,” explained Escott.

As a result of Schneider Logistics’ strategic acquisitions and successful integration, today the company provides comprehensive door-to-door logistics services, including transportation management, freight brokerage, air/ocean freight forwarding, customs house brokerage, transloading and distribution, supply chain management, supply chain advisory services and freight audit and payment (Europe)—all under the Schneider Logistics logo. Customers in North America, Europe and China are benefiting from Schneider Logistics’ unique combination of domestic and international services for their door-to-door needs.

“As we expanded our global presence and prepared to face the market as one entity, we realized the importance of leveraging our heritage of excellence as a transportation leader,” Escott added. “The Schneider name and logo are synonymous with transportation and logistics and enjoy a brand recognition few in the industry can match—a brand customers associate with quality service and an ability to meet growing needs. Schneider Logistics will live up to that brand promise and help our customers achieve their business goals.”

The recently integrated Schneider Logistics has also merged its Web site into the virtual home of the Schneider enterprise, www.schneider.com. This site was recently redesigned to embrace the tradition of Schneider orange and provide site visitors with enhanced capabilities, such as streamlined navigation and search engine focus.
