Madison Media Institute Students to Produce ‘Show on Screen’ at the CCA Convention in Las Vegas

MADISON, Wis., April 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Madison Media Institute | College of Media Arts (MMI) in Madison, Wisconsin, is thrilled to announce that four of their students, along with Video and Motion Graphics Department Chairperson, Nella Citino, will be handling all the on screen production of the Career College Association (CCA) Convention June 25-27, 2008 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

MMI students will be creating the “Show on Screen” production portion of the convention. They will be producing the shows on screen graphics and design in promotion of the show and also filming the exhibitors, seminars, and clinics so attendees can watch on screen. Chuck Byers is the producer/director of the project. He comes in with 4-5 years of previous editing, shooting, and lighting experience. He is overseeing the concept, tone and feel of the project. Jon Sovey is the graphic artist. His background is primarily graphic arts, but is lending his other talents to some 3D animation skills he learned at MMI to create titles, transitions, and other production elements. Ricky Cervantes is editing. He is using the skills he learned at MMI in editing the entire piece and pulling all of the elements (music, graphics, animation, and stills) together.
