Continental Airlines Begins New Nonstop Service From Cleveland to Four New Cities

CLEVELAND, April 3, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) on Sunday will begin new daily nonstop service from its Cleveland hub at Hopkins International Airport to four new cities — Birmingham, Ala., Charleston, S.C., Green Bay, Wis. and Tulsa, Okla.


The new cities are part of Continental’s expansion program underway at Cleveland that adds new domestic nonstop destinations, in addition to previously announced new service to Paris, France. New service from Cleveland to Greensboro, N.C., Omaha, Neb. and Savannah, Ga. began in March.

Flights will be operated by 50-seat Continental Express regional jets. These jets come with individual reading lamps, individual air conditioning outlets, a full-size lavatory, storage for carry-on luggage and a wardrobe closet.
