SHEBOYGAN, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Snowmen taking a spin down a waterslide? Only at Blue Harbor Resort on the shores of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, Wis. could you find this holiday festivity pulled off without a hitch. The catch? The snowmen were toy versions of their frozen counterparts, replacing the more traditional rubber ducks for a holiday-themed race. Each of the snowmen was numbered to correspond with guests’ rooms, and the family with the winning snowman was given an early holiday present — a future free stay. Second and third place winners were gifted with vouchers to apply toward the cost of a future overnight at the resort.

According to Erin Merry — yes, that is her real name and her official title at the resort is “Ambassador of Fun” — other holiday festivities planned for the final weeks of December include breakfast with Santa; an up-close visit with real reindeer, appropriately named Dancer and Prancer, on the front lawn of the resort December 22; holiday movie classics; story time complete with milk and cookies; and carolers. A New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party will include music and the traditional balloon drop at midnight.
