MADISON – Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary Roberta Gassman will address the annual New North Economic Development Summit today at 1:30 p.m. at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan.
Secretary Gassman will highlight Governor Jim Doyle’s record and agenda to ensure Wisconsin’s workforce remains first rate and lead a panel discussion on attracting and retaining talent. A member of Governor Doyle’s Cabinet, Secretary Gassman leads the Department of Workforce Development and oversees 1,900 employees charged with strengthening Wisconsin’s workforce.
