Pre-Sale Announced for 08 McDonald’s All American(R) High School Basketball Games

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ — McDonald’s(R) announced today a pre-sale opportunity for tickets to the 2008 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Games. The boys and girls games will be played on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wis. This is the first time in the 31-year history of the Games that a city in Wisconsin has hosted the event.

Basketball enthusiasts can register for a pre-sale code at http://www.mymcdonaldsmilwaukee.com/ through October 22. Registrants will be emailed a code that will allow them to purchase tickets through Ticketmaster between October 23 — November 4. Tickets range in price from $17 — $52. Remaining tickets will be released to the general public on November 5.


The McDonald’s All American Games are nationally recognized as the premier showcase for the top high school basketball talent in the country. Annually, 24 boys and 24 girls are selected from a pool of more than 2,500 nominees nationwide. The players will not only become part of the long-standing tradition of the Games, but will also raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities(R) (RMHC(R)) of Eastern Wisconsin.


Since 1977, more than 800 players have competed in the McDonald’s All American Games, forming an elite list that reads like a “Who’s Who” in basketball history. McDonald’s All American(R) athletes include NBA greats Kevin Garnett, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. Former female All Americans include Seimone Augustus and NCAA stars Ivory Latta, Tina Charles and Candace Parker who made history at the 2004 McDonald’s All American Games when she became the first woman to win the slam dunk contest at the POWERade(R) Jam Fest.
