Accomplished legal professional Tim Feldhausen has been named to the board of directors of New North Inc., it was announced by Vicki Updike, chair of the board development committee. He was approved at the organization’s August 2016 board meeting.
Feldhausen is a senior attorney at the Green Bay office of Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. He has provided outside legal counsel for more than 15 years, and today serves New North businesses in the areas of commercial finance, corporate governance, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, and real-estate transactions.
An active member of the Maryland State Bar and District of Columbia Bar, in addition to the Wisconsin State Bar, Feldhausen previously practiced corporate and commercial law in the nation’s capital.
“We are pleased to add Tim’s legal expertise to the New North board of directors,” says Updike. “His clients primarily are in industries key to the success of our region – manufacturing, technology and sales/service businesses – which further strengthens the perspective he brings.”
Feldhausen received a bachelor’s degree in history, with a Russian language minor, from the United States Naval Academy in 1990. He then served eight years in the U.S. Navy, managing shipboard engineering and seamanship systems while leading 200-plus Navy personnel during deployments at sea on two major combat vessels. Upon completion of his military service, Feldhausen earned a master’s degree in liberal arts from St. John’s College in 1998 and his juris doctorate from George Washington University Law School in 2001.
