Madison – The Wisconsin Utility Investors (WUI) announces the 2016 Executive Committee and board members elected at the 2015 Annual Meeting, held at the Wintergreen Resort in the Wisconsin Dells.

Executive Board Members – The WUI Executive Committee was approved by the board of directors for a one year term of Chairman, Roger Cole; Vice Chairman, Richard Krueger; Treasurer, Kenyon Kies; Assistant Treasurer, Paul Vanderbloemen; and Secretary, Thomas Fehring.

Board of Directors Election
Board Members elected to a 1 year term are Roger Cole, Richard Krueger, Barbara Swan, Paul Vanderbloemen, and Patrick Culbert. Members elected to a 2 year term were continuing members Kenyon Kies, Thomas Fehring and Walter Woelfle and new members Charles Clarke and Trudy Popenhagen.

About New Members of the Board of Directors
Trudy Popenhagen, former Xcel Energy Customer Service Manager for Western Wisconsin, was elected for her first two-year renewable term by the WUI membership. In addition to her Utility customer service experience, Trudy brings to the organization years of experience in service to her community through her executive board positions with the Hudson Chamber of Commerce, Phipps Center for the Arts, and the Polk, St. Croix, and Pierce County Economic Development Corporations. WUI is excited to have Trudy on the Board of Directors.

Charles Clarke, semi-retired Financial Manager, was elected for his first two-year renewable term by the WUI membership. Charles brings his financial experience to the Board of Directors through his work in utility cost controls for companies in Michigan, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, British Columbia, and Indiana. The shareholder perspective will be brought to the table as well as an interest in supporting financially strong utilities. WUI is pleased to welcome Charles to the Board of Directors.
