Dairy Business Association: Webinars will help explain new veterinary feed rules

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Veterinary Feed Directive regulation means significant changes are ahead for those involved in the production and care of food animals.

By 2017, antibiotics approved for both humans and animals used for production, including growth promotion, feed efficiency and milk production, will change to therapeutic claims only with veterinarian oversight.

To help the industry with this transition and to better understand the FDA guidelines,
Feedstuffs is offering webinars on the new rules.

The webinars will be specifically tailored to various sectors of the food animal production sector.
