Faith Technologies: Project Manager recognized with Patriot Award by Department of Defense

FAITH TECHNOLOGIES PROJECT MANAGER
RECOGNIZED WITH PATRIOT AWARD BY DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE

Menasha, Wis. (Feb. 3, 2015) – Project Manager Evan Blakeman and Faith Technologies received a Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) for providing extraordinary support to employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve in Wisconsin. This is the second Patriot Award Faith Technologies has received in less than one year.

The ESGR, a Department of Defense operational committee, works to develop and promote supportive workplaces for National Guard and Reserve service members. Senior Chief Petty Officer Scott Neuser, journeyman, nominated Blakeman and Faith Technologies for this award because of the resources, job security and support the company offers to employees throughout military leaves.

“Faith Technologies has many service men and women who make sacrifices to serve our country,” Blakeman said. “These men and women are an important part of the organization, and we are humbled to be recognized for providing them with a supportive work environment. It is a small payment for their service to our nation.”

Faith Technologies employee Brian Zager, director of engineering, was recognized with the same award in February 2014; he was nominated by 1st Lt. Jeffrey Kohler, engineering team leader – Milwaukee.

“Today’s employers are strategic partners in our National Defense,” said LeRoy Frahm, Wisconsin ESGR volunteer. “Their active support of their Guard and Reserve employees is critical to the success of maintaining the strength and mission readiness of our nation.”

After the Patriot Award presentation on Monday, Jan. 19, Keith Verstegen, group manager, signed an official Statement of Support for all those who serve, which will be displayed in Faith Technologies’ Appleton office lobby.
