First Bank Financial Centre is Putting the Wraps on Hunger

Oconomowoc, Wis. – During the month of December, First Bank Financial Centre (FBFC) embarked on its annual gift wrapping campaign! For a suggested donation of $1 per gift, or a non perishable food item, FBFC employees wrapped customers Christmas gifts! All proceeds were donated to local food pantries and other community organizations.

FBFC’s Hartland branch offered gift wrapping each Friday in December. Branch employees collected $51 and dozens of food items to donate to the Hartland Food Pantry. The whole team helped by either wrapping gifts or continuing to serve the banking needs of our customers to free up the gift wrappers.

The employees at the East Brookfield branch donated their collected funds from their gift wrapping to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and their food donations to the Wauwatosa Food Pantry located at St. Bernard Congregation. FBFC’s West Brookfield branch also participated, delivering their food donations to the Waukesha Food Pantry on December 26th.

The Oconomowoc corporate branch raised $300 for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry in addition to several canned food donations. Many customers took advantage of the convenience of gift wrapping, and commented on how creative the wrappers were with the presentation of the gifts.

FBFC’s Brown Street employees raised $240, with proceeds being split between the Oconomowoc Food Pantry and the Ashippun Bread Basket Food Pantry. In addition to the monetary donations, non-perishable food items were also collected and donated to the Oconomowoc Food Pantry.

FBFC’s Summit branch employees provided gift wrapping to customers beginning December 5th and continued doing so through December 24th, collecting cash donations and non-perishable food items for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry in return.

The Menomonee Falls branch wrapped around 20 gifts for customers and collected $30 for the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry.
