Sussex, WI (January 5, 2015) – The Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin has added Kevin Pasqua, owner and executive director of LearningRx in Brookfield, and Perry Schroeder, president/CEO of Cornerstone Consulting, also in Brookfield, to its Board of Directors. Pasqua works with children, teens and adults who have suffered a traumatic brain injury or multiple concussions. He’s seen firsthand what happens when the brain is hurt and how that can impact daily life, school life and careers.
“I’m excited to join an organization that’s focused on prevention, recovery and support for those who’ve experienced brain trauma,” says Pasqua.
Schroeder is an experienced businessman and most recently served as vice president of the board of directors for Variety, the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin. As part of the executive committee, he worked to implement board best practices for non-profit management.

In addition to Pasqua and Schroeder, the Brian Injury Alliance of Wisconsin Board of Directors includes: Audrey Nelson from Reality Unlimited, board president; Caroline Feller from Lakeview Systems, vice president; Jan Heinitz from Concordia University, secretary; Kelly Kjell from Milwaukee Rescue Mission, treasurer; Thomas Guelzow from Guelzow Law Office; Michael Klug from Milwaukee Center for Independence; Jackie Kuhl from Clearview Brain Injury Center; and Robert Babel.
The Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to serving individuals in Wisconsin who have experienced a brain injury, their family members, and professionals. The organization was formed in 1980 by a group of individuals affected by brain injury in response to the lack of available services specific to the unique needs of individuals with brain injury.
The Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin’s mission is the prevention of brain injury and the full participation in life for individuals with brain injury. The Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin provides help through five core services – Information & Resources, Education, Advocacy, Prevention, and Support Services and helps to connect individuals to organizations throughout the state that provide rehabilitation, assisted and independent living services, therapy, advocacy, vocational training, recreation, and support for individuals affected by brain injury.
