Trends in the local and global video game development industry will be the topic of a panel discussion at the Tuesday, Nov. 25, meeting of the Wisconsin Innovation Network meeting in Madison.

The luncheon will be held at the Sheraton Hotel on Madison’s John Nolen Drive. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $25 for WIN members, $35 for non-members and included with WIN corporate memberships.

Panelists include: Lee Wilson, CEO of Filament Games; Tim Gerritsen, Director of Business Development at Human Head Studios; and Forrest Woolworth, COO of PerBlue. Tom Still of the Tech Council will moderate as panelists discuss the strength of Madison’s growing cluster of game development studios, as well as the challenges faced by studios in this region, trends in gaming technology, the future of the video game business, and the societal benefits that comes from this entertainment industry.
