Energy Tech Solutions: Wins 2014 Governor’s Award for Outstanding Women-Owned Small Business

Energy Tech Solutions, LLC based in Madison, Wisconsin is the proud recipient of the State of Wisconsin Governor’s Award for Outstanding Women-Owned Small Business. Top honors were presented by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp (WEDC) at the Marketplace 2014 Governor’s Conference in Milwaukee, WI, and awarded to those businesses that demonstrated excellence in sales, product, customer relations, employment and management.

“We salute not only the winners and finalists, but also the nearly 200 successful companies that entered this year’s competition,” said Reed Hall, secretary and chief executive officer of WEDC. “Each year we see more and more businesses owned by minorities, women and veterans make a name for themselves, and we are pleased to be able to provide them with this recognition.”

“After winning the Governor’s Award for New Federal Contractor in 2011, this award is especially significant as it recognizes our company as an established business that has demonstrated the capacity to grow over the past five years and has plans for continued expansion in the future,” said Cynthia Everhart, CEO of Energy Tech Solutions. “We started this company in 2005 as an early adopter of LED technology when few others had even considered it. We’ve dedicated our attention to USA- made / ARRA-compliant products and ultimately started designing and building our own products to supplement our offering. This has given us a competitive edge and provided an attractive offering for growth in the national account and Federal contracting marketplace. Receiving this prestigious award confirms we’re on the right track with the initiatives for new markets and future opportunities we’re pursuing. The future has never looked brighter.”

“We take a more technical approach to selling LEDs lamps and fixtures and focus on energy savings and return on investment. We are also committed to making sure we have the right light for the application. Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive selection of high-quality LED lighting products that exist while supplying our customers with a sound lighting solution that is sustainable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible. Receiving this top honor from the WEDC reiterates our commitment to this goal,” said Cynthia.
