Construction started December 14 for a 94,000 square foot office building, to be developed and owned by The Gialamas Company. PLANNING Design Build, 40l Deming Way, is the design-build firm for the four-story glass building at 8040 Excelsior in Old Sauk Trails Park on Madison’s far west side. The Gialamas Company is at 8020 Excelsior Drive.
Associated Bank, the anchor tenant, will occupy the entire first floor, which is approximately $20,000 square feet of space. There will also be a drive-up canopy.
The building, to be completed next fall, will include a two-story lobby and underground parking.
Planning Design Build will incorporate sustainable design features, including daylighting and glazing to reduce solar heat gain. The exterior will consist of exterior glass curtain walls with metal panels.
The Gialamas Company is currently leasing additional space.
