A public information meeting for Lake View Hill Park will be held on Saturday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m. in Conference Rm. 110 at the Dane County Health and Human Services Office, 1202 Northport Drive, Madison, WI 53704.
Dane County Land and Water Resources Department and the Friends of Lake View Hill Park are hosting a public information meeting to share the results of a historic landscape evaluation of the property for when it operated as a tuberculosis sanatorium from 1930 – 1966. Quinn Evans Architects was hired to evaluate the historical significance of the site and has prepared a conceptual plan that provides treatment recommendations for the property’s historical elements. Individuals will have an opportunity to learn about the history of the site and comment on the conceptual plan at the meeting. Comments gathered will help prepare a final plan and establish a common direction for the historical aspects of the Park. Lake View Hill Park surrounds the Dane County Human Services Department office located at 1202 Northport Drive, Madison WI.
