American Speed Association: Snowball Derby follow-up

FREDRICKSON WRAPS UP HIS EXPERIENCE

It has already been two weeks, but it is not too late to find out just what American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and grandstay.net driver, Dan Fredrickson had to say about his first ever Snowball Derby experience.

After a strong start to his week, Dan had some unfortunate mishaps throughout the main event, but rallied to a 15th place finish. Fredrickson could never have made the trip without the support of family, friends, and sponsors.

“The Derby was a lot of fun, we feel like our presence was known against a lot of big dollar teams. The Lefthander Chassis and B&B Engine performed flawlessly. The race was very expensive to run and I must thank my sponsors for their support; Farmboy BBQ, Directpex.com, Turtles Bar, Kingline Equipment, Echo Wisconsin Dean, and Fast Eddy’s Fun Center. Also I would like to thank the Ryan family and all the people who purchased t-shirts from Farm Boy. It was a great experience and I will do it again. That having been said, I’m excited to get back and compete with the ASAMT in 2011,” said Fredrickson.

The ASAMT was proud to have Dan Fredrickson and Ross Kenseth, and Slinger Super Speedway Late Model Champion, Dennis Prunty represent the upper Midwest in such a prestigious event. As we head into the Christmas season, it is a great time to reflect back on the 2010 racing season, and where better to start than the Snowball Derby.
