Milwaukee, WI, April 13, 2010 – Bay View’s Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp announces its seasonal move outdoors to South Shore Park.

The warm sunshine and longer days means fresh, outdoor workouts for Milwaukee Adventure Boot Campers. Amy Friese, Owner and “Fearless Leader” of Fitness for EveryBODY, LLC coaches the Bay View program and gives the boot campers a variety of challenging workouts. One day you may be strength training in the grass, the next it could be yoga on the beach. There are so many elements available with outdoor exercise – especially out by the lake.

This innovative, women’s only fitness program provides a combination of progressive, full-body workouts, nutritional counseling and inspiration for all fitness levels.

Third-time boot camper, Liz Burke, recalls “enlisting” back in January, “How would I, an out of shape 60-year old, adapt to something called ‘Boot Camp’? It has been amazing. In three short weeks, I have lost 5 ½ lbs, 2 inches off my hips, and gained a dozen friends to help me with my fitness journey.”

The first outdoor boot camp of the year begins on Monday, April 19th through Friday May 14th. New and return campers are signing up in advance to reserve a spot, and it’s no wonder. Don’t let the thought of fresh air, vitamin D, and lakefront sunrise fool you, though. The program is designed to challenge you beyond any typical gym class, both physically and mentally.

Coach Amy tells us “It is a unique opportunity to transform yourself inside and out – and along the way – discover just how far you can succeed in other aspects of your life.” Spring and Summer sessions are 1 hour per day (5:30 – 6:30 AM) for 4 weeks, with the options of 3-, 4- or 5-days per week.
