MILWAUKEE, WI (November 24, 2009) — DeWitt Ross & Stevens is pleased to announce the addition of John F. Gaebler to the Business group. Gaebler joins the firm as a partner in our Brookfield, Wisconsin office.
Gaebler concentrates his practice on Corporate and International law. He is a frequent advisor on international and domestic merger and acquisition transactions. Gaebler is a regular advisor to lenders, borrowers, venture capital investors and business start-ups. He also regularly provides advice on contract, shareholder and partnership issues.
With a particular knowledge of and experience in business dealings in the countries of Western Europe and Latin America, Gaebler regularly counsels and represents corporate clients in various international joint ventures and other transactions. He has lived in Europe and Latin America and speaks French and Spanish.
Gaebler is a popular public speaker on international legal issues and speaks regularly to groups of French businessmen and French law students about doing business in the U.S. He serves on the Boards of Directors of the Alliance Francaise de Milwaukee and Literacy Services of Wisconsin.
Gaebler received his B.A from Harvard College and his J.D. degree from University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin (Order of the Coif).
