MADISON – Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Interfacial Solutions, LLC, River Falls, St. Croix County, has received $115,000 tax credit allocation from the Department of Commerce (Commerce) for an expansion project. Commerce Secretary Richard J. Leinenkugel made the announcement at a press conference held Oct. 23 at the company’s River Falls’ facility.

“I have worked hard as Governor to make Wisconsin a friendly place to do business,” Governor Doyle said. “Now, more than ever, it’s important we continue to invest in good companies like Interfacial Solutions, which are committed to providing jobs for hardworking Wisconsin families.”

“We very much appreciate these tax credits and firmly believe that they will translate into high-paying jobs in St. Croix County,” said company president Jeffrey Cernohous, Ph.D.

Interfacial Solutions, LLC, founded in 2003, develops proprietary products for the plastics industry. It also provides creative technology solutions to the companies it supplies. It maintains an operations facility in River Falls and a warehouse in Hudson. It is expanding operations by constructing a 22,000-sq.-ft. addition to the River Falls facility. The project will create 17 jobs, retain 20 jobs, and represent $2.2 million in investment.
