October 21, 2009 Waukesha, Wis. – MRA – The Management Association (MRA) has announced that Ralph Pontillo, CEO of the Manufacturers and Business Association (MBA) in Erie, PA will present an overview for business leaders on the systematic methodology of Blue Ocean Strategy on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at MRA’s conference center in Waukesha. MBA is the only training site in the U.S. certified to teach the Blue Ocean Strategy approach and Pontillo is a nationally recognized leader in its application. Popularized in the book by W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne, adopting a Blue Ocean Strategy allows companies to break away from the competition and shrinking markets by moving into new markets in which there are no competitors.
