MADISON, Wisconsin—Kathryne McGowan has joined the WEA Insurance Corporation (commonly known as the WEA Trust) as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development.
Ms. McGowan has more than 25 years of experience working in health care management. She most recently was the Vice President of Marketing at Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation in Madison.
“I look forward to helping the Trust continue its mission of providing excellent benefit programs at a good value for public educators in Wisconsin,” Ms. McGowan said.
Other positions Ms. McGowan has held include: Vice President at Innovative Resource Group of Milwaukee; and Executive Director at Health Ventures Inc.
The WEA Trust is a not-for-profit Madison-based insurer that provides health and other insurance programs to Wisconsin public school employees. It currently serves more than 130,000 health plan members and 150,000 dental plan members.
