UWM: Hosts project management workshop May 29

MILWAUKEE—“Making Things Happen: Mastering Project Management” is the topic of a full-day workshop at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business Center for Technology Innovation on Friday, May 29, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in room N140, Lubar Hall, 3202 N. Maryland Ave.

This interactive and practical workshop will explore the reasons projects work. It will examine the difficult situations that arise on every project, look at different ways that great project managers would handle such situations and demonstrate techniques for avoiding the big mistakes.

The presenter will be Scott Berkun, author of a best-selling O’Reilly Media book on project management. He has written articles for the The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Wired Magazine and appears frequently on MSNBC and CNBC as a management expert.
